We love linen!

Nature and natural materials are close to our hearts.

Our high-quality linen products are designed and handmade in the Majurska House in the historic Lappeenranta Fortress. Linen has traditionally had an important part in Finnish handicrafts. We want to cherish that history and bring linen to modern homes, as well.

Why is linen so easy to love? Because it only gets better in use.

Sledding is a Shrovetide tradition in Finland. The longer your sled would slide, the longer the flax would grow, resulting in more linen.

Leena's treasure trove

One of the reasons why linen is so great material is that it has so many uses. Galleria Kääntöpoiju's owner, designer and artisan Leena has created a versatile product line over the years using her knowledge and experience. She is always ready to look into the future and create something new.

Linen

Unprocessed linen is a natural material that is antibacterial and resists dirt and stains. We use unprocessed linen in flat sheets, pillowcases, sauna seat covers, table runners, tea towels, oven mitts and potholders, among other things.

Washed linen

Washed linen is a natural, durable and absorbent material that lets your skin breathe. The products are ready to use. Our linen products are washed at Laptuote. We share the same values.

Linen waffle

One of the best qualities of 100% linen is its great absorbency. That is why it is a perfect material for towels and washers. Undyed linen waffle products are 100% linen, and dyed products are 55% linen.

Handprinted linen

We have beautiful 100% linen products that are handprinted in Finland. The fabric is durable, and has all the same properties as linen with no print. Only the washing instructions are different.

Linen is a great choice for pet owners

Pet hair does not stick to linen the way it does to other materials.

Roti, who was awarded the title of Hero Dog by the Finnish Kennel Club in 2012, loves sleeping in linen sheets.
